Unknown helmets; rubbish or real?

Hello fellow forum-members!

I've received these helmets some time ago with 2 DDR/NVA-helmets which I bought the lot for. Now I would like to know what they are, what they're worth and how old they are...

Here's the first two, of which I think they're tourist rubbish from the US and some other country with a rainforest





Can't really be bothered by these two, but who knows x)

Now the last one, of which I'm sure it's something original army. Seller told me it was Swiss, and I believe him on that, but I'm not sure
It has a camo-cover, and underneath some sort of 'raindrop-painting'.

Just found some markings on one of the leather 'flaps' of the Swiss helmet; it says;
H.R.P.T.

Might that be the date?

I believe the broad brimmed hat is a British issue Gurkha parade headress of recent times. More detailed explanation here

I do hope so That makes it at least worth a little bit more then tourist stuff right?

Anyone sure about this? And about the worth of the 3 helmets? Might anyone be intersted, do send a pm because I don't really need these items...

Hi!

The last one is indeed Swiss, it's an M-71, so 77 could very well be a date. The camo cover is fine, too. The white disc tied on the liner is a name tag, so if there's a name on it, the helmet has most probably been issued.

These don't sell for much, they are less desirable than the older variant, since they were being used until fairly recently. I guess that a price around 20 dollars would be right, given the average prices of various dealers.

@filupe; thanks for the link! Does look like one indeed, although the chinstrap is missing, just like the regimental badge etc.

Pity there're no pics of the inside of one of those on the internet...? I've found a lot of pictures of gurkha parading, but all of their hats seem to have a 'dent' in the top. I've tried to form something similar to that with my example, but couldn't copy the look entirely.

Perhaps someone knows the maker? I haven't searched it yet, will do it in a minute.

They had a hatters factory in Atherstone, UK. 1896-?
