    Japanese Aviator Wings?

    Hello Gents,
I am looking for info on what I believe is a set of Imperial japanese aviator wings. This is way out of my area though (this one along with several others came from a local vet--check out the rest on the Collections Display Forum if you like). This one is marked NO. 768 And if anyone could give me any info on these I wouuld really appreciate it.
    Thanks

Interested in candid/private Hitler, KIA, and Holocaust photos. Also any AH related memorabilia--silverware, linen, crystal, china...
    All the best,
    Chris

I'm pretty certain this is post-W.W.II Japanese.

Those would have to be post war IF they are Japanese Navy. The WWII Japanese Navy pilots wings looked nothing like those at all. They do look somewhat like US Navy aviator wings with the flower superimposed. You might surf the web & see if there is a website for insignia of the modern Japanese armed forces & see what turns up. I've been collecting wings for almost 30 years & I have some that still defy identification!

Greg,...Those wings with an eagles head are Japanese airline pilots wings. Hope this helps.

                The two cloth wings ...

Marcus as i am sure you are aware ...The first with the anchor on is naval sea landing craft pilot, some state suicide boats but this is incorrect. The second is pilot insignia.

If you decide to sell the naval wing let me know ,kind regards
