French 1874 Bayonet hangers?

Anybody ever seen this type of hanger setup on a 1874 bayonet?

I can not find any information on them anywhere.

IMO that is not right for that bayonet, they have a normal frog.

I agree. looks as if someone added it for soem reason - to wear in a play? or just for dress-up, maybe.
