    Hi i'm a bit courious on this one,i think it's post ww2 but it uses the german style and the fabric looks almost like ss camo,i have a backpack in the same style also with german ww2 fabric and buttons.
    It was bought in the late seventhies.
    Hope someone has any info.

                    That sounds about right,the bacpack i have is marked i believe 1962 and has the same pattern.
                    What is interesting is that it's very similar to german ww2 ,both in looks and
                    details like buttons.

                      That's the reason why the camo is so popular in europe and maybe other areas too. I looks like a SS camo. Years ago I saw original Italian Camo SS Equipment in a Berlin based Auctionhouse. You even could see the SS overstamped HBA Stamp of the austrian bundesheer. A breadbag was offered for 500 Euros (or was it Marks?). I sold them for 12 euros, for sure without the upvaluing SS Stamps. That was maybe the extra for paying the guy with the timemachine to get more equipment fot the troops.
