Looks good and typical version made by S. Johnson. Seems that you see the Johnson marked pieces the most.


Laslo's reference on victory medals (The Interallied Victory Medals of WWI), classifies it as the type 2, as there were several official maker's of this medal.

Yes, the Laslo reference is dated and a lot of new information has come to light since, but it's still the only real reference source out there other than the online forums.

I always liked the Italian design the best; just beautiful and great details!

You must have a high Resolution Camera?

No, not really. It's still my old Sony Mavica (3.2 megapixels). I'm too cheap to buy a quality 10+ megapixel camera as my disposable income all goes towards the nice shiny things to take the PIC's of. I know you can relate!!
