      Original parachutiste badge BUT UNISSUED

REPRODUCTION of the 1st REP badge
Thanks, could you please advise what specifically shows the REP badge to be a repro? Is the Drago marking of the incorrect era?

What era, if any did Drago use the Drago/Paris marking?

      Thanks

        HI AK,

I can't find the exact article, but see post #13 regarding drago badges and addresses:

        http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=355871

I was mistaken and actually the last address they apparently used was roumnainville, so perhaps your drago badge is ok. It's been so longs since I dealt with them.

And here's an interesting article alluding to some of the drago badges being made in thailand (the other article I was referring to I can't find)

          Chris,

          Thanks for the links

So on the below chart there are two "DRAGO PARIS" types listed, along with some notations in French. Any idea which one my badge would fall into if it is correct?

          1954-1956
          &
          1956-1988

Are there any good solid refrence books on French insignia?

          Thanks
