Advice needed on unknown Polish? Badge/medal

I have come across this item which I think might be polish, but I'm notsure whether it is some sort of badge or medal, probably a badge. it is enammelled and is of the screwback type. It measures about an inch or 2.5 cm across and is extensively marked on the back. I would be grateful if someone could identify it and give me some idea of its value if any.
    Thanks,
    Peter.

Thanks 3mk. I take it that it is a polish regimental badge, and I assume pre WWII. When you say 100, do you mean dollars? Thanks for your help, at least I now know what it is. Would it be worn on the cap or another part of the uniform?
          Thanks,
          Peter.

            Hello Peter,
Could you provide us a photo of the reverse of the badge with the disk off? Can tell you more that way.
            Regards, Henry Pierzchala

              Hey Pete
That price is in dollars but as I said it can easily fetch more then that if it turns out to be original and rare.Polish regimental badges were worn on the left top pocket of your uniform, not on the hat unlike other nations as Poland wore a Crowned Eagle on there hats.Psiajucha will help you identyfy if its original or not and its value.

                      Hi Peter,
]t looks to be an original WW1 "Polish Wehrmacht" badge. Poles served in various countries' armed forces in WW1, as Poland was still annexed by Russia, Austria, and Prussia at the time. Too bad the enamel is damaged, but still a highly collectible item. Nice find!

                      Regards, Henry

I think they were numbered by how many were awarded,

                              Hi Peter,
The number on the reverse is a serial number, as 3mk says. Btw, the badge for sale on Ebay is a reproduction.
                              Regards, Henry
