    Kennedy Arms knife

    Hi Guys,
Here is another obscure knife to ponder.

This is a double edged fighting knife sold by Kennedy Brothers Arms of
St. Paul Minnesota. Kennedy Bros was a arms and sporting goods dealer
that sold these to some of our troops during WW2. The last listing of
there store was in a 1952 phone book. I only know of 3 of these out
floating around but I'm sure there are many more. I think that because
they are such an ugly single purpose knife that most were lost or thrown
    away.
If anybody has one or has any more infomation I would really like to here.

I welcome all your opinions and comments.
    Thanks,
    Greg

Hi Greg, I have never seen one of these before, only the line drawing in the Coles book. I think it is a nice looking knife, but it certainly looks dated in design, it could almost date from the Middle Ages
Thanks for showing it, I always enjoy seeing fighting knives.
          Cheers, Ade.

I know this is an old thread, but I found one of these last weekend and I think it's pretty cool. It came with the orig. scabbard but the handle has been replaced with the typ. WWII plexiglass , alum. and brass rings. If interested in seeing it, I'll try and post some pics. Denny

              Hi Denny,
Welcome to the forum. I would like to see your knife.
I think that there were just a small number of these knives made and
because they were such a ugly and somewhat clumsy knife they were
discarded or used as garden tools ect. after the wars end.
