French, not sure what period.
French "Troupe de Marine" are what the French refer to as "colonial troops" - recruited in France from Frenchmen but usually serving overseas in the colonies and former colonies. The Infantrie Marine are a corps in the modern French army. The Foreign Legion is often associated with, serves alongside the IM. -
