Can you identify this WWII era uniform?

Brought back to the states after the war...Any ideas? How about value? The only thing I can identify is the WWI victory medal ribbon...

First to get the cranky out of the way, and not specifically in this case but in ALL cases of these new "thumbnails"

I don't like them. I don't like having to keep clicking on them to refer back to them. Just post one in each reply and let us SEE them. Oigh!

It's Greek. (Say... which side WAS your family on, again?... )

Tailoring and color and British style rank look like a Lt.Gen. of RAF, but must be army.

Ribbons are (and seem faded, so am not sure, clicking back and forth on the Hidden Thumbnail)--

Greek Order of the Redeemer, Greek Royal Order of George I, Greek Royal Order of the Phoenix, and last in top row if 3 pale blue and two white under the MID star-- Greek 1940+ Cross of Valor.

Then Greek 1916-18 Venizelist Medal of Military Merit w/foliage, 1912 Greek Balkans War Medal, 1913 Greek Balkans War Medal, WW1 Victory Medal,

then either (out of place?) Greek War Cross 1940+ or equally weird British Imperial Service Order (???!!!), can't tell next one, Tsarist Russian Order of St Stanislaus, something Rumanian, probably French Legion of Honor, Tunisian Order of Nishan Iftikhar, Swedish Order of the Sword, and lastly-- ?

some of the fadeds might be IDable with actual colors. Is that last one all black, for instance?

Greek Army. Collar tabs are those of a general officer. Shoulderboards indicate a Major General.

          Thank you

Rick, Thank you very much for the identification of the uniform and awards. Any ideas on a value range for this piece as it will likely go up for sale and I have no idea what to recommend as a price??? Thanks again, Brian

P.S. This uniform came back with a U.S. 90th Inf. veteran.
