        Although many peoples first thought of Indochina generally revolves around the Foreign Legion contingents, possibly the finest troops deployed were the Army para regiments.


        For many (myself included) the classic image of the later years of the conflict are these troops and their Vietnamese bretheren.


        I am cheating a little with the 47/53 jacket as the defining image is of course the 47/52.

              welll i ll hope that some others will come up with some nice items,

              have you guys been aware that the french forces in indochina worn some type of SS camouflage, i saw this in a militaria magazine i think, you could clearly see a guy wearing SS camo type blouse, and SS quater shelter were seen as well, it was a great picture, to bad i cant recall exactly were i have seee it.

                Well here is some of the more of the FFL grouping that I have scanned. Not para but this is the right place for them. I am hoping that I can get some rough translations from some of these documents, because to my shame, my french is crap!
