What's this WWI helmet worth?

What is a fair price to pay for this helmet from Portugal used in WWI and then used for civil defense? It's the one on the right.

Anyone know? I ask because someone has offered to send it to me free but I think I should pay a fair price for it.

In this condition I used to think $20 at the most but I've seen some pretty beat up ones go on ebay for $50-$70. Postage from Portugal to the U.S. is generally a fair amount more than it is from here to there so I'd offer what your heat tells you is right. Nice gesture on both parties part

Ask him if he has any laying around in better condition, I'm desperately seeking an original WWI era as well as a 1930's relined version!! If he lives anywhere around Tomar I'll paint his house/apartment for free this summer if he says "yes"!

Thanks guys. He had a few helmets just like the two in the photos, he went and got these two just for me, he said they are laying around in some former government installation near Lisbon. (sp?)

Don't think he has anything high end.
