    Which country produced this mess kit? Markings appear to be: AST.APKAUST.

    Messkit looks similar to Soviet model but manufacturer stamp is not Cyrillic letters. Stamp does bear resemblence in style and placement to East German messkit in my collection though. Possibly some other eastern European army?
