    Headgear Identification - HELP!

    Dear All,

My local "junk" shop was putting up for sale two nice pieces of headgear today which I could not identify.

After a tiny bit of research, I have managed to identify that they may well belong to the same officer around 1900/1905. I believe that they are Danish kepis/shakos because the interior of the black shako contains some marking "Kjobenhavn". Can anyone confirm that? Apart from that, I do not know anything about them. Can anyone help??

Has anyone got any idea of price (the dealer does not and would like to have my views on it!)?

    Cheers

    Alex

Would appear to be definitely Danish Army, based upon the address of the maker, and the Danish cockade (red & white), on the undress cap. Very nice pair, and I would think rather rare.

                  Thanks Bob for the information.

I have done a Google search about these to know a bit more but without much luck. If anyone else has a view, please don't hesitate!!

                  Cheers

Have to agree with these being Danish as the three lions is a standard Danish royal motif.
