Any idea what it says? He wrote out the words on a piece of paper, and I took a photo of it.

I think it says "gold for the motherland" with a date. Some sort of award for donating to the war effort?

I wish I was able to get this collection... but... am still working on it...

He seems to think this ring is very rare.... but... it's not gold.

Any Italian collectors who have one of these rings... and know the value?
