    Trousers Identity

I would appreciate any information regarding these Trousers. There are three pockets which are chamois lined and a method of fastening a fighting knife. I am not able to make out the label, however it is possible that it is Belgian? There seems to be a date which is 194? something. Any opinions will be welcome. All the best, Clive.

              pants

              Hello,

It is the Belgian post war copy of the British WW2 paratroopers trousers (with some changes).

Let me know if you want to sell it.

              Brdgs,

              JM

On the subject of the style of these trousers, can anyone tell me which which countries / makes used that style of button-down belt flaps? I've only seen something similar on Canadian period makes...

Many pre-State Israeli Jewish forces (from at least 1940) wore pants of that style, but they don't match any of the pictures in my sources...
