They call it the "Authentic Regimental Collection," but then we call any sparkling wine "Champagne" too.

Nowt wrong with them! Some of those depicted are rather... erm.. obscure - Madras Lowland Muleteer Fencible Militia - and I'd love to see their sales ledger for such obscura.

Whilst the regimental (and 'old school') tie is a typically 'British' thing, it's nice to see tham thar Yankees cottoning on to the idea. I myself have two, and could probably squeeze another two out of my 'entitlement'. Nothing cuts a dash quite like that blaze of colour around ones' neck, and it's amazing the conversations that strike up as a consequence of "which outfit's that then?" I do have to be careful, living in Cambridge, as such a question could be met with stony silence. But I rather think I'm quite adept at spotting the difference between a retired Major and some Master from St. John's.
