Please can I have some information on this Gurka side cap, such as to which unit it belong to, which period etc, unfortunatly there is not date or stampings inside the cap.

Field Service Cap
It appears to be a FS cap to the 2nd King Edward VII's Own Goorkha Rifles (Sirmoor Rifles). I thought they had red piping on the ear flaps though. I might be wrong on that, but the devise & knot are to 2GR.
It's difficult to date, as not much changed really until 2GR were amalgamated in to the Royal Gurkha Rifles in.... '94... I think. I'd say post-war as a guess.Comment

I thought it might be post war, although not many people seem to know much about these, I took it it an arms fair awhile back and nobody knew anything about it.
