Is this a real Mexican Adrian M-26? I just picked it up and was curious. Also any informantion on it would be nice, like when they were used by Mexico.

Looks like an original French manufacture M26 used by <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Mexico. Mexico also manufactured a helmet very similar to the French M26. The badge is for Infantry units. I am not exactly sure on the dates, but believe they were used from sometime in the 1930’s to the 1950’s.

There are some badges for sale from time to time, but there is a debate whether these are fake or just stripped from surplus helmets. IMA-USA of NJ is repainting WWII French helmets. The theory I have is that they might have bought up some old Mexican helmets and now they're dumping the badges.
I agree that these were used from the 1930s until the 1950s. That is a super nice example you. I have one that is really beat up. I'll add that I've never seen a nice example of these. It seemed that they were used, abused and then stored really badly!
