    Unknown Adrian Helmet

I just picked up this Adrian Helmet, I don't know who used it or what era. With the stenciled insigina it just doens't seem French to me. It has a bullet hole in it and the cloth & leather liner is obviously damaged ( along with the original owner I am sure)
    Can anyone help?

Defenetly an italian version of the adrian helmet, probably from WW1, but I am not a specialist. Very nice, especialy with the damage, that looks like schrapnell damage from the picture.
