What anyone have an idea what this might be? Is it German or something else? What era might it be? Is it military or political or is it just some kind of jewellery item??? I don't know.... Cheers, Torsten.

the reverse...could it maybe be Czech? CRS = Republic of Czechoslovakia???

Cap badge...

Hello Torsten.
What you have there is a Czechoslovak cap badge.It was used from 1919 till 1921 I think.I am not at home at the moment, but I´ll get you some information on it on Wednesday.

Marian, thank you very much for the info.... to be honest, I did not really expect anyone to recognise this badge...I presume it is a military cap badge? Additional info would be very welcome...Cheers, Torsten.
