      fakes

Sadly these are modern fakes of obscure Chinese pre-1965 medals.

mixture of fakes and good ones? but... some of these medals are awarded for civilian events. For example, the one with flipped swastika was the symbol for buddist temple ceremony.

The Chinese fakers use a variety of designs and materials, but they tend toward:

          1. painted "enamel"
          2. this style of red ribbon or garish ribbons with metallic stripes woven in
          3. tiny pins
          4. artificial age
          5. mixed symbols (often Imperial and Republic)
