Auschwitz Cross! Opinions please

found this Auschwitz Cross on a Flea Market in a Box with all kind of Stuff,Russian Badges,Buttons and Stuff..any Chance it is original?
It has the RP instead PRL on the back..
and also what is its Value,because I want to put it on the E-stand

Any Comments are very welcome

I would not buy this cross because the suspension ring is wrong. The actual cross has a designed suspension ring that is supposed to simulate barbed wire.

I think this is a Polish made copy.

Another thing wrong with it is that on the back in the top arm of the cross it's should be writen "PRL" not "RP".

The first issues had the RPL, while Poland was under the heavy arm of the communists. After Polish liberation from communism, the medals were issued with the RP. Either can be correct, but the pictured cross is a Polish copy, frequently sold on ebay. The correct cross has a much nicer finish of darkened silver plate on brass and the roughness displayed on the copy is not on the original.

Bob is correct. Posted here cross is a copy IMO. Please take a look in to these pictures and you will see why.
