    Here's a helmet I'm researching, but like any ecstatic collector I didn't want to wait forever to put it on display. Hope you enjoy:

    Do let us know what you find out about this helmet. If you ever find another let me know. I saw one on eBay but I lost out in the bidding. I would most certainly like one of these for my collection.

          a blast from the past, but better late than never: Peter, I did locate the origins of the helmet. The factory called "Pleese" which manufactured it is from a city near Tel Aviv called Holon. The interesting thing about this firm is that they also minted certain tokens in the pre-State period and later also Israel's (rare) first coin - a nice piece of history.

            iv an israeli M1 hemlet that looks like it was made in israeli as it has hebrew marks in it! was picked up by a swedish observer 15 years ago!
