Scabbard identification please!

Had this 17 1/4 inch scabbard brought to me at gun show. No maker marks at all. Has an Asian look to it, any ideas guys?

Steve I was trying to find an example of the short sword that scabbard fits. I saw this before. If I remember right it is US sword pre ww1. Do not remember if it is militia sword

Apparently its in the French “Ecole de Mars” style, the runners inside throat fitting are wood
