    My infantryman.

My Brazilian Expeditionary Force infantryman's set. The M41 jacket is the one my uncle wore as a BAR man. Web equipment is a mix of US and Brazilian made.

Hi Cesar, you really should get a mannequin to put all the uniform and gear onto as it would look great. The fact the jacket was your Uncle's makes it very special.

I have a question about the trousers. I take it these are Brazilian? They look almost a light blue colour?

      Cheers, Ade.

        Hi Ade,

These trousers tend more towards a green/gray in the areas that have not been exposed to the sun. After intense use they have faded to this slate gray color (that is what they appear if seen in person).
Note that besides the trousers, part of the web gear is also Brazilian made. I will post it in detail soon.

        Thanks & regards,
        Cesar.

            Hi Cesar,

            Very nice itens!!!

Uncle had a "Guerreiro" warrior face!!!

The Brazilian (FEB) winter pants in Italy did not use captured Italian weaveeed?

            Regards,

            Ricardo.

Thanks for the comments, I think some captured Italian material was indeed used to manufacture BEF uniforms.

              Regards,
              Cesar.

This should be of interest to collectors of US web equipment. Note the hardware in these M36 suspenders which differ from the original American made model.

Indeed. He was a WWII combat veteran, a boxeur, a prizer winner shooter and a decorated police officer.

                      P.S. the grenade is inert
