French Croix de Guerre WW1 Set Complete

Just received my elusive 1914-1916 French Croix de Guerre today to complete my WW1 set. As a bonus this one had a Bronze Palm as a ribbon attachment:

First up the 1914-1916 w/ Palm:

              BTW,

              Why are the ribbons different?

Mainly they are different colors due to fading. If you open up the 4th one from the left (1914-1917) it has a color similar to the ones beside it.

I checked my CdG collection and I am missing the 1914-1915 issue. I am now on a mission... to get that one too!

My hope is to find one with multiple palms and stars.

CCJ ... the two on the left are BOTH 1914-1915 ... if you want to buy one of those ... take your pick

                        Now down to only 1 - 1914-15

                        Thanks CCJ

So what are the various years? I can't quite make them out? Was there any significance to the year numbering?

                            Left to Right:

                            1914-1915
                            1914-1916
                            1914-1917
                            1914-1918

The second date on each signifies the year of the award. Not sure why no award specifically for 1914
