Rare Vietnam War images of main Force Viet Cong and VC

M1 carbines appear in abundance as well. I assume these were captured from South Vietnamese troops or from stock abandoned in Communist China and given to the VC?

The Carbines came from both of the above, plus captured French stocks.

Just wow again! Esp love the VC2 photos. The guy on the far right has an awesome belt, and has his ammo pouches on the right (unusual). Keep 'em coming.

And all those readily available when Ho Chi Minh was an ally of the USA and that were used against French troops later during the Indochina War.

Sharp eyes Gary! I'm still trying to tell if it is for sure, but I have had three VN bringback P-38's in my collection. Only have one now.
