I found a couple of period pictures and thought I would share them. 1. NPFF. 2.French Indochina?

Looks like Npff cloud pattern in the color picture. Is that an enfield rifle in the black and white pic? Can't see it too well on my phone.

Nothing about that second picture says anything specifically French about it. Looks like US WW2. The garrison cap on the guy in the background looks US, and M17 rifles were scarce in French service until the Algerian War.
