Do you think this badge is for 2e BEP. It seems to have the right markings on the back – slanted stripes. But has DRAGO PARIS not PARIS NICE. No G1948 mark.

And against a more modern one, on the right, is a little smaller.

For reference, DRAGO badges were manufactured with identifying marks on the back as follows:

prior 1940 : 25 rue Béranger.

1944-1947 : DRAGO, Paris-Nice.

1947-1952 : 43 rue Olivier Métra.

1952-1960 : 3 rue de Romainville.

1960-1990 : DRAGO, paris.

1990-1995 : Marne la Vallée.

The use of irregular lines and DRAGO Paris indicates different time periods. But also here 1954 – 56 has DRAGO Paris.

I've found the guides for Drago production are very good rules of thumb, but there are plenty of exceptions
