Hello gentlemen , i collect Geman Helmets , but i find this part of the forum facinating .Ihavealways been interested in this area but have a lack of knowledge to collect it.I have a very good friend who was in Vietnam ,ufortunately his experiances havent left him but hes a great guy.He gave me this flag .He didnt bring it back hself he got it from a mp when he came back to the United States .What do you think

Appears to be of typical Vietnam War era construction,
but also not a hard flag design to be made by non-VC.
Not much more to tell you, other than you got it right.
