is this a recent bring back from VN brought back by a tourist? Im not sure if the Ssh68 helmets were even used in VN pre 1975? or maybe the Russians supplied the Vietnamese with these post war.

the seller says he picked this up on a trip to Vietnam back in 1989 , so it's probably a post VN war used helmet, probably picked up in the souvineer shops.
