I bought this lot about 11 years ago from the vet. He also provided me photos from his tour, and wrote up how he had captured each item. The item that most intrigued me is what I call the "doofus hat" (the one with the plastic band in the bottom photo), as it reminds me of one I used to wear as a drinking hat when I was in college. It is made from a kind of felt material. Somewhere around the house I have a copy of "Behind the Lines" magazine which shows a SEAL going on a mission wearing one of these; otherwise I have never seen one before. Any info on it is appreciated.
