just wondered if there were any markings from manufacturers or depots on the cheche scarves used by the FFL and ohers in indochina?or were these theatre made items...?

This article was standard issue in the northern area (Tonkin) while this writer served there during 1951 - 1953 and again from 1954 to the evacuation in 1955. I do not recall any markings on them and would think they were of local manufacture.
A handy item during the cool winter period.

the cheche had a very light beige color but of course changed with sustained use in the field where it was mainly worn.
