Need Help Identifying Captured NVA Pack

Can anyone identify this pack? And did it have a special use? The pack was captured by a member of D Company, 2/12, 1st Cavalry Division during the Cambodian Incursion in 1970. I am not too farmiliar with communist gear but the pack does not look chi-com or anything to me and is pretty well made. Heavy canvas with metal hardware. Even has pads for the shoulders. No markings anywhere.

My NVA backpack radio is buried someplace in the garage so I can't compare right away, but it looks a bit like that pack. Not exactly the same so I'll have to find mine to note the similarities/differences.

That would be great if you can compare them. From the design and hardware, can you tell what country this pack would of originally been from?

May be a piece from Pathet-Lao...

Sorry, my radio pack is not the same design or construction.

Looks to be of eastern block origin. But as far as what went in it, I don't know.
