Finding this cover would be like finding a needle in the haystack. This is a cover from the 34th Ranger Bn. sent in 1967, during the period that I was their Sr. Adviser. I will cherish this item as one of my favorite pieces of
    militaria.

          Windproof

          Hello all!
I believe that I found an original "windproof" ARVN jacket at a local Goodwill store in Franklin, PA.
The stamps are clearly visible at the nape of the neck. It is a very small size. It appears to be unworn, as all the threads going from buttonhole to buttonhole have not been cut. In fact, there's a lot of loose threads all over it.

Does anyone have an idea of the current value on these?

          Scot Buffington

I'm having difficulty posting the image from my desktop. Help!

While surfing the web, I found this site to be quite interesting:

              http://rvnhs.com/museum/bietdongquaninsignia.html

It is well done but not maintained to well.

I was not aware of this ARVN section.

I had not scrolled down before to see this section until today. Since I am here I am searching for a friend of mine 2nd Lt. Dung Pham of the 33rd ARVN Rangers. He goes by Dennis Pham. Does anyone here know of him? The last time I saw him was at a reunion June of 1998 in Dallas Ft. Worth. NGAY QUAN-LUC

Great Thread...Here in Southern California, many Asian Americans and former Vietnamese. Now wonderful United States citizens. Many fascinating stories and accounts of the Indo china wars.
