our forum is a year old now and 2 days, we missed out a big birthday party, well i guess we have a couple of more years ahead of us, to enjoy the threads and posts here.
Thanks to the dogged persistance of members such as Alex and Chris the powers that be came to be convinced of the viability of a sub-forum far removed from the initial purpose of this site.
One year on (and how time has flown!) the forum has made slow but steady progress. The remit of this forum in particular has no real counterpart. All aspects, all participants, from the reapplication of French Colonial control right to the bitter, tragic endings of 1975.
The forum has both waxed and waned over these last 12 months as is the nature of fora, but we are blessed with some of the most eminent names in the hobby from around the globe (both collector & professional) whose expertise is invaluable and whose time is graciously given to help both on and offline behind the scenes.
We are also honoured to have a number of veterans who post and view the forum regularly, these are of course the men we seek to remember and pay tribute to as we move along our collecting path.
This is of course your forum, the direction it takes on a daily basis is entirely in your hands.
Used in conjunction with all the printed works that have gone before, used with other fora such as USMF (another forum with a wealth of shared knowledge) we have some of the most beneficial tools a collector could wish for.
To those that have been with us from the start you have my sincere heartfelt thanks, to those that have just joined us...welcome!
