              2 Camo Uniforms

I would like to post 2 uniforms which belong to a good friend of mine. Hopefully, one day he will allow me to preserve one for history.

This one looks like made from british windproof smock, may be it s a tailor mod jacket ?

I believe you are correct, WWII vintage. By the tailor tag at the collar it was a private purchase.

                        Hi,

Would you show some close up pics ? Did your friend got the jacket directly from the vet ? I remember years ago a seller named B.Bush sold a similar shirt made from the large size windproof SAS pants.

I will see if I can get other pictures. The uniform and other items were in a foot locker that he obtained from the owner.

                            Denis ,
Brooks Bush was making Viet cut garments for years .
I have seen 1st cut US cuts also .
A lot of these uniforms were sold at the Great Western only to appear years later on a Vietnam dealers web site patched up .
It is Brit windproof for sure .
I like the second one more as it is made from 1st type Viet Windproof fabric.

                              Owen,

it is a sin to do things like that. Be assured that before i buy any uniform, that i will pass it through you first!

                              Aloha

Now here is something you dont see every day a camouflage Piss cutter in lizard.
This hat came from Vietnam 20 years ago by George Petersen.
He told me about it a long time ago and only managed to find it just in time for the last SOS.
I have NOT seen any pictures of one in use yet but its war time made with a great lining .
Worn with the common USMC P-44 uniform.
