    How is dealing Enemymilitaria.com?

    Hello everyone,
I hope this post finds everyone healthy and safe. I’d like to purchase a few Viet Cong and NVA things for the collection, so I thought I’d ask how EnemyMilitaria.com is to deal with before I place an order. I’d love to hear from anyone who has dealt with them before and get a recommendation.
    Thanks,
    Vic

Thanks for the reply. I put in a small order just to test it out. I’m sure there will be delays due to the pandemic. Hopefully I’ll have nothing but good things to report back.

I had many prior dealings with one of the principals and thus refuse to purchase from Enemymilitaria, so I have never used it. Just too many items that turned out to be bad or have bad paper. Way too many, esp when I counted him as a good friend. The worst was I returned a couple of items with bad paper and he never refunded the money. Over $3000. One of the items, a humped sniper, later resurfaced, having been resold with the paper still attached. I haven't heard such stories with this venture but I and many other friends, having been burned in the past, won't do business there. While I did get many really nice items, in collecting once the trust is gone it just isn't worth it.

Thanks for the feedback. I pulled the trigger on a few inexpensive items. Had I seen your post, I might have given it a second thought. I’ll use extreme caution going forward. Thanks

I have bought quite a number of Viet Cong and/or NVA items from the website. I have also bought, from the website, pieces from the Chinese Cultural Revolution, as well as more recent Chinese military awards (both being areas of of my own expertise) and even a few North Korean awards. So far, I have had no trouble with anything I have purchased from enemymilitaria. All have been original pieces, and everything has also checked out as good with anyone else who has looked at it. I realize that everyone can have different experiences (and I am certainly not challenging the experiences of others), but those are honestly mine, with total impartiality.

I bought a Chicom AK47 spike bayonet from EnemyMilitaria. Unlike the one in the pictures, the one I received had no locking collar. Useless. I send a few emails to notify them of the situation, asking them to either send the collar or refund my money, but no response.

I discovered what I needed to know about EnemyMilitaria.

Well I pulled the trigger, and my transaction went smoothly. I was quite happy with the items I bought and I’d definitely buy from them again.

No, I ordered over their website. I got exactly what I ordered without any problem.

Actually, looking back at their website, I couldn’t even find a phone number listed.

I’m actually the same way. I’m a dinosaur when it comes to technology. But when you’ve got a military collecting addiction, sometimes you’ve gotta do what you gotta do to get your fix.

$400 worth of items purchased over 6 weeks ago and still nothing, no tracking number. Has said twice he will send them promptly. Other items bought at the same time did arrive.
I've bought many things from him and have had good experiences and good items for the most part.
Had one really bad experience before he had his website, but it was resolved....eventually.
Waiting to see how this one turns out before I spend money there again.
