Hello,

Congratulations on finding this Mecklenburg-Schwerin M15 buckle. It's a very difficult one to find.

They're also hard to photograph because of all the small details on them. I need to re-shoot the front of mine, because my photo is a bit out of focus.

Here are some photos of my example. My leather tab has a Mecklenburg maker mark on it.

Well lucky you! Not sure where you shop and find one of these for that small a sum of money.

I paid over 12 times that for my example, and considered myself fortunate to have been able to acquire it from a long-time collector friend.

Whoever sold the buckle to you for a mere $40 didn't know what they had. Do they have other things they want to sell?
