I would like to show my brunswick spikehelmet to trie to find some similar pieces to compare it with. The only time I've seen this bevore was in the Stubbs book.
Stubbes describes it as the first pattern wich should be worn by the 3rd Bat. from 1889-1912. In my oppinion in that case this one should be seen mor often. I'm more tended to think that it is some kind of sample item, which wasn't in use for a long time.
I'd be happy to hear some oppinions on that.
Does anybody know brunswick or helmet collectors who might have one of those too?
