Schutztruppe breeches?

From fleamarket, 1st thought they are early 3rd Reich political, but somebody mentioned they could be Schutztruppe?

It would be instructive to see original Schutztruppe breeches. The only clue I see is the little snap button on the interior waist band strap. I don't think that is a feature of Imperial uniforms, but did exist in 1930's/40's uniforms. This is only a guess.

Not Schutztruppe, unless perhaps private purchase for an officer. There should be no pocket flaps, and for issue pants the lining would be khaki-tan with a KA (Kolonial Amt) stamp in a small rectangle with a date. Kraus-Mueller is pretty much the Bible for Schutztruppe uniforms. It seems unlikely an officer would purchase non-regulation breeches with pocket flaps, but not impossible.

I too believe that these post date WWI. I would say circa 1930 SA
