Seems to be a mix and match helmet. Interior and stamps makes it an EM helmet. Wappen, spike, pearl ring and stars make it an Officer helmet. This is not a period combination. I would give this helmet a miss.

Im confused as to why it has no officers quality liner, and just an o r ranks one.I have two genuine picklehaubes and know a lot about them, but not everything
interested to hear others about the liner.

The helmet was a mere $100 "buy-it-now" on eBay recently.

I would have jumped on it and purchased it as well, simply just for the value of the officer parts on the helmet.

It never ceases to amaze me as to the number of helmets and other items that people dump on eBay each month with fire sale give away "buy-it-now" pricing.
