Hello!
I got this complete Austrian ww1 helmet in my collection. But the chinstrap is different from the cloth one. Also the rivet is a dome. According to some sites, when the river is a dome it is from the 20’s 30’s, also the chinstrap is from that period. This was done to helmets they used in ww2 for the police forces. I’ve seen photos from the helmets and they are exactly the same. The only this is that mine has no SS or polizei decals.
In my oppinion, everything is original. Just questions about the CHINSTRAP and RIVET.
Can somebody help me please?
