Imperial Ribbon?

Hi, I have a ribbon which measures 38cm long x 4.5cm wide. It looks like it was stitched at one time. Can anyone tell me what it went with?

Also, this ribbon is very strong in its construction and has no stretch in it.

Yes. It should be in the Imperial forum. Anyway, It's not for a decoration, but more likely some patriotic commemorative medal.

Just looked at my post again. It is a terrible photo. Taken by an ipad camera. It does not show any close detail of the stitching/weaving quality. So, we can conclude that it is Imperial due to the colours, ya. Has anybody else ever seen one like this?

Commemorative Medal Ribbon

Ok, I get the drift Kaiserwilhelm2 and bolewts58, but on the up side, i received some type of answer. I thought this WAS the Imperial Forum area.

Previous assessments are correct in that it is a generic patriotic ribbon that could be used for a myriad of purposes.....commemorative medals, pins, etc.
