Imperial Tallies of ships participating in the Battle of Jutland 1916

I have been collecting the Kriegsmarine Mützenbänder for just over a decade now. I have accomplished several complete collections and have turned my attention to attempting to collect the German Ships that participated in the Battle of Jutland.
Here is what I have achieved so far..

Were there other non-combat attending ships?

There were several more along with torpedo boats, uboats. Here is a very good list of the combatants of the battle of Jutland.

I am hoping to acquire all of the ships with S.M.S. in front of their name.

A bit of preliminary history from what I know.
S.M.S means Seiner Majestät Schiff translated to His Majesty's ship.

There were three colors: Gold was for Matrosendivision. Silver for Werftdivision and Red for Cadet or youth sailor.

Certain ships like the S.M.S Derfflinger don't turn up too often and are a bit more expensive. This ship also had quite a successful during the battle.
As you can see in the link, I have a good start, but have a long way to go.

The other interesting thing about this is that you can look and see many of the commanders who were lost during the battle later became namesakes for the Destroyers built in the 1930s that fought during WW2. Enlisted men who performed exceptionally well in the face of danger were also remembered and commemorated with a Zerstörer namesake.

Some fine examples. I know that several will be very hard to come by.
Luetzow, Derfflinger and several others.
Partly got the idea from seeing your collection so many years ago on this forum.
A worthy effort. I have time on my side still. (Knock on wood)

Jeff V If you ever think of downsizing, I would love to acquire the S.M.S Luetzow and the S.M.S Wiesbaden from your collection. That would give me the complete fleet.
