Hello,

It's a Model 1895 buckle. Worn from 1895 until the Model 1915 Steel buckle was introduced and replaced it. It would have taken some time logistically for the steel wartime buckle of 1915 to replace it.

It is same size as the war time ones, as the 1917 Saxon shown below, not one of the early larger ones. So, 1895-1915, gotcha!
