Helmets on auction

Yes, many of us here have seen the auction.

They apparently came from a very old collection of approximately 80-some helmets, of which several others have also been posted on this auction.

The two you've posted links to appear to be legit.

Not really a proper auction , if the helmet is worth $8000 and the reserve is $7500 , might as well just buy one from a dealer . Rob

Not quite. On several items the reserve has already been met and those reserves in general are lower than in the shop.
