Pre WW1/WW1 Lion Head Damascus Presentation Sword

Well, it was a sword day today, came home with this beauty, I posted a pic of the name panel on the other Imperial board here, but thought I should show the whole sword, I think I may have Identified the first name von Schimonsky as Ulrich Schimony von Schimonsky, the crest with the sword and two half moons is that family's crest, the von Mayer is still a mystery, any thoughts are welcome on who Mayer may be. Nice imperial, can't beat em for quality. Love the silver horn and Saxon shield.

Very nice artillery sword i think the period is between 1900-1918 because the scabbard has 1 ring the older models has 2 rings , in the past i have collect these German presentation swords as well the craftsmanship of these swords is beautiful.
