Help needed on Bavarian Uhlan helmet!

Without seeing the interior, my hand would be a private purchase M 1886 Bav.2.U.R tschapka. The fittings appear to be officer quality except for the Mannschaft cockade which would indicate a OYV, if original. The two color plume is for an officer. I don't like the rabatte; right maroon color but the flecking on the cords indicate officer but the black rim around the edge is wrong. It should have a silver tape around the edge. Can't tell you much without more pics.
